The University of Derby has two main campuses – one in Derby and the other in Buxton. The two campuses of the University are just about an hour’s drive apart. Other campuses include Kedleston Road Campus, Mickleover Campus, Britannia Mill Buildings, Jackson's Mill, the Green Lane campus, Markeaton Campus, Cromford Mill, Cedars Campus, and the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. The largest campus is at Kedleston Road, just outside Derby city centre, and is easily accessible by road and rail. Nottingham East Midlands Airport is 30 minutes' drive away, and Birmingham International Airport is approximately one hour by train or car. Derby train station gives access to the major cities of London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds, all within two hours' journey.
The faculties of the University of Derby include Arts, Design and Technology; Business, Computing, and Law; Education, Health and Sciences; Buxton; and Flexible and Partnership Learning. The University offers a wide range of courses in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The University also offers part-time and short-term courses. You can also combine a range of subjects with the Join Honours programmes offered by the University.
