History
In 1843, Sheffield School of Design was founded and was amongst the top schools of art and design. The Sheffield Training College (in 1905) would go on to be a part of Sheffield Hallam University. The City College of Technology and the School of Art and Design merged in 1969 to become Sheffield Polytechnic. In 1992, this polytechnic was awarded university status and came to be known as Sheffield Hallam university.
Courses Offered
