University Profile
Liverpool Hope University has been offering students quality higher education from nearly 160 years as some of its founding colleges were established as way back as 1844 and 1856. It operates from its two main campuses at Childwall and Everton. Full as well as part-time [evening/weekend] classes are available.
The institution forged an alliance with Anglican and Catholic sixth form colleges in Liverpool and the wider North West to launch the Network of Hope campaign in 1998. It currently offers several undergraduate programs at St Mary’s College, Blackburn, Holy Cross College, Bury and St John Rigby College, Wigan.
Liverpool Hope University offers several programs that can train students to qualify for an undergraduate, postgraduate degree, diploma or certificate. There are many PGEC programs available too.
Students can design their own programs that can lead up to a certificate in higher education or an honours degree. The students may also opt for a single or a combined honours degree award where students can choose from a selection of about 450 combinations. The University also offers the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies that is recognised by the head teachers and governors of Roman Catholic schools.
All the undergraduate programs have an exchange option, enabling students to study abroad at North American, European and Pacific Rim Universities for one semester or more. The extensive library and the computing facilities help students interested in research, abundant material to look up and it is open 24/7.
