Leeds Metropolitan University is one of the largest universities in the United Kingdom, with more than 52,000 students and 3,500 staff. The university consists of two campuses, one in Headingley and the other at Harrogate. The college has a regional university network involving 14 colleges from Newcastle to Belfast.
Some of the faculties at Leeds Metropolitan University are the Faculty of Health and the Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education. Another faculty is The Faculty of Arts and Society, which has 6 schools on art, architecture, built environment, cultural studies, performing arts, and social sciences. The Faculty of Business and Law consists of the schools of law, business, and accountancy as well as a research institute. Innovation North includes University of Dales and Harrowgate College. Leslie Silver International Faculty has schools on global ethics, languages, tourism, hospitality, and event management.
Leeds Metropolitan University offers BA and B.Sc (Honours) bachelor’s degrees in various job-oriented subjects.
