With a rich history stretching back to 1896, the University of Salford is just one and a half miles away from Manchester city centre.
The University of Salford is made up of four main faculties, comprising different schools. The faculty of Arts, Media and Social Sciences includes School of Art & Design; English, School of Sociology, School of Politics & Contemporary History; and School of Media, Music & Performance. The Faculty of Business, Law & Built Environment is made up of three schools: Salford Business School, School of the Built Environment, and Salford Law School. The Faculty of Health and Social Care is made up of three schools: School of Community, Health Sciences & Social Care; School of Health Care Professions; and School of Nursing. And, the faculty of Science, Engineering & Environment is made up of the School of Computing, Science & Engineering and School of Environment & Life Sciences.
The University of Salford offers a wide range of full-time and part-time course programmes in various subject areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
